The Fridley Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man who robbed Fantasy House Gifts last month.

The robbery happened around 10:52 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, on the 1000 block of East Moore Lake Drive.

Suspect Shot and Killed by Police Outside Ramsey Day Care is Identified

Authorities have identified the suspect shot and killed by officers outside of a Ramsey day care Thursday. Authorities say 21-year-old Chaz Michael Havenor was shot by police.

The Ramsey police officers involved in the shooting are Jerad Dixon and Richard Webb.

An 18-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly stealing a car and leading police on a high-speed chase.

According to the criminal complaint, an Anoka officer was on the 1300 block of Seventh Avenue on Thursday, Aug. 7, when he saw a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier that day. Two men were in the car at the time.

2 Men Charged with Stealing Scrap Metal from Columbia Arena

Two men were arrested in Fridley for allegedly trying to steal scrap metal at the Columbia Arena.

Fridley officers were called to the 7000 block of University Avenue around 11:22 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, on a vandalism report. When they arrived, police say they heard a noise coming from inside the closed building.

Mounds View Woman Charged with Check Forgery

A Mounds View woman has been charged after allegedly trying to pass a fake check in Spring Lake Park.

Officers were called to Your Exchange on University Avenue on Saturday, July 26. When they arrived, an employee said she suspected a woman was trying to cash a fake check because the markings on the check didn’t look right.
