The Vintage Band Festival is once again proud to present performances from a wide variety of brass bands. The British-style brass band has a rich history.
Twin Cities girls will walk the runway in historical and contemporary fashions from the American Girl® line of dolls in the 12th annual American Girl Fashion Show® presented by the Junior League of Minneapolis. Shows are Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway in Minneapolis.
A Richfield artist was named the winner in the DNR's 2013 Pheasant Stamp Contest. Timothy Turenne's painitng was selected from among 14 entries in this year's contest.
Ed Durose of Roseville took second place. Mark Thone of Shakopee finished third.
Turenne finished third in the 2011 pheasant stamp competition.

Students at Lincoln School for the Arts will have a colorful welcome at school this fall.
